Anatomy UK was started by me, Emily Evans in 2011 to reflect anatomical creativity both in the UK and worldwide.
I am a freelance Medical Illustrator based in London UK, Senior Demonstrator of Anatomy at Cambridge University, Councillor of the Medical Artists’ Association of Great Britain, & Anatomy enthusiast!
My degree was Anatomy where my favorite part was dissection. I merged the two loves of anatomy and art and trained as a medical illustrator in 2002, so now I draw anatomy every day, it’s my ‘dream job’.
I love seeing what other people are creating using anatomy as their influence, and hope that by showcasing their work on this site, it helps promote their art and enthuse others to get excited by anatomy. Copyright of all imagery still belongs to the creator of the work. If you see your work on this site and wish it to be removed please contact me; info@anatomyuk.com
