Jordan Eagles: BLOOD WORK

Whilst in Chicago this week, I had the pleasure to meet the New York based artist Jordan Eagles while he installed his new exhibition in the International Museum of Surgical Science. The exhibition entitled BLOOD WORK previews tonight, and features 8 new artworks in Jordans signature Blood / Resin panels (LIFE FORCE is shown above) and one room of Blood Projections (below).

The pieces are created with fresh or dried cattle blood, copper and some with gauze, all preserved on plexiglass and coated in UV resin. This process is documented in a stunning film below;
