Art and creativity inspired by Anatomy and Science

Anatomy at Frieze Art Fair, London 2011

Held in Regent’s Park every year, Frieze Art Fair has become the place to go to see which artists all the top contemporary art galleries across the globe are representing. Every year I have my eyes peeled for the best pieces of art that use anatomy as inspiration, and this year was no exception; (top left) KAWS “Companion” 2011, Fiberglass and rubberized paint, Perrotin; (top right) Mark Quinn “Zombie Boy (Rick) 2011 Orbital-sanded and flap-wheeled lacquered bronze, White Cube, London; (middle) Jake and Dinos Chapman, White Cube, London; (bottom) Elmgreen & Dragset, Untitled, 2011, Steel, wood, dummy in latex, shoes, Blackberry and Jewels.
